White Wine
There are a many white wine varieties around the world. These wines are sometimes considers aperitif, meaning they are consumed before dinner, in place of a cocktail.
	In the summer time people tend to prefer these wines over red wine, because they are usually chilled before consuming.  White wine should be served cool, but not ice cold.  White wine can put placed into four categories.
Earthy white wines, are dry full bodied, and can have an unoaked or lightly oaked flavor. Aromatic white wines, have an intense aromas that come from the particular grape variety. Rich oaky white wines, are either dry or fairly dry and full bodied with a strong oak character. Fresh unoaked white wines, are crisp and light with no sweetness or no oaky taste.

Sparkling Wine
Sparkling wines are wines that contain carbon dioxide bubbles.
Champagne is the most famous sparkling wine.  Probably the most famous wine in the world.  Made from a certain grape varity that is produced in the Champagne region of France.
